As some of you know, I don’t really care much for holiday music. Don’t get me wrong, I like Christmas but the music is completely obnoxious to me. This, however, has to be my all-time favorite Christmas song. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

A couple of weeks ago, Vanesa and I were browsing around a 10 NT store. A 10 NT store is Taiwan’s version of a $1 store. They’re got everything in there from cooking utensils to pens and pencils and the like. While looking around, we happened onto a little bin filled with Rubik’s cubes. You remember those, don’t you? Anyway, there were only NT$10 (about 30 US cents) so I thought what the heck and bought one and have been addicted ever since. I seem to be playing with my cube nearly every spare moment and now can usually solve it in under five minutes. Sometimes I like to time myself just to see how fast I can really go. As of now, my record stands at 3 minutes and 16 seconds. But I think I got lucky with the positioning of the pieces on that attempt. However, I’ve regularly been able to break the 4 minute mark. Now that might seem pretty fast, but it’s nothing compared to this 6-year-old kid that can solve the cube in a mere 37 seconds. Unbelievable.
Edit: Scratch that. I just solved it in 3 minutes and 6 seconds. A new record!
