If you’re one of my readers from the west, which I’m pretty certain both of you are, you’re no doubt familiar with this product…

Good ol’ I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. How many years has that stuff been on the market? Fifteen or so? After that long, you’d think we’d be capable of comprehending that it is not indeed butter. But somehow, we still can’t seem to fathom it and the legacy lives on.
There are a lot of western foods that one can obtain here in Taiwan. Stuff like Coke, Fanta, Lay’s potato chips, Doritos, McDonald’s, Subway, KFC, and Skippy peanut butter can easily be secured. I’ve even managed to find Log Cabin maple syrup as well. But alas, I’ve not been able to locate a tub of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. What a pity. So I’ve decided I’m just gonna have to settle for the Taiwanese equivalent.

Now, I haven’t had a chance to sample my find but as you can imagine, I’m pretty ecstatic about the prospect. And if that weren’t exciting enough, the good people at Unbelieveable This Is Not Butter were kind enough to include a free set of portable chopsticks (as seen below) with my purchase. Because as we all know, when you think of butter, you can’t help but think of chopsticks as well.

Note: Notice how they’ve even misspelled the word “unbelieveable”. I love this country.
